Chris at Symbiosis rustled up this superb package to explore (some of) the Philippines. We spent 3-4 days at each of the 4 centres, the transfers worked like clockwork.
In Puerta Galera we stayed at the Coco Beach hotel where the chalets were attended to by local families.
On Pandan, a small but perfectly formed desert island, we had to wash in brackish water which only added to the sense of intrepidness.
Stopped to dive the Apo reef on our way to Coron where Gunter, our host at Discovery Divers, begins our fascinating journey into wreck diving. In the evening we'd all get on a tiny boat and put-put round the bay to Otto's bar to shoot some pool and listen to the Rolling Stones over a few beers. On the way back we'd watch the shooting stars (God I hate light pollution).
The last Island was Sangat, a beautiful place where the owner Andy made us feel welcome and part of the family.
