This has to be one of the best places we've been. It's a small turtle sanctuary off the north-east of Borneo.
Unfortunately, because tourism may be affecting the environment, you can no longer stay on the island although Borneo Divers can take you there. We spent 2 weeks there diving up to 4 times a day and never got bored. In the end we were treated like staff. I'll never forget the sense of camaraderie felt at the end of the jetty in the evenings where, over a few beers, the staff played music, sang and told stories. We even translated jokes into russian!
